THE TRACK: Our classic – a whole loop around Innsbruck, always a pleasure. Not quite as demanding and technical as our longer distances, but a really nice ultra with lots of panoramic views: Since it is unfortunately not yet ensured that we can move back to the original venue at the Landestheater in 2022, we are currently assuming that we will once again host the IATF at the Olympiaworld. Directly after the start you will follow the wonderful Sill Gorge to Gärberbach, where you will go up to Natters and to the first aid station at the Natterer See. Freshly strengthened you enjoy the Akademikersteig shortly before the aid station Birgitz. As usual it goes shallow through the Inn valley to the Nordkette. From here, the famous Stangensteig awaits you, which for us is the more beautiful running direction from west to east. Flowing along the trail to the aidstation at Höttinger Bild. You pass the Arzler Alm, the Thaurer Schlössl and the aid station Romediwirt. The next kilometers to Hall are relatively flat and can be reeled off well. After the medieval old town of Hall, where there is an aid station again this year, you are back in the southern part of Innsbruck and after the aid station at Herzsee the downhill towards Innsbruck already begins. Past Aldrans and in the Lanser forest, it is mainly downhill on great trails down to Innsbruck, where you have more than earned the finish at the Olympiaworld.
