INNSBRUCK ALPINE TRAILRUN FESTIVAL – K15

THE ROUTE: Since it is unfortunately not yet ensured that we can move back to the original venue at the Landestheater in 2022, we are currently assuming that we will once again host the IATF at the Olympiaworld. However, there is one change: We are incorporating the K15 into the Saturday again and can therefore look forward to a packed trail Saturday. 2020 and 2021 have shown that the “new” K15 Rookie Trailrun lives up to its name and is a really nice beginner trail, which can therefore be run again in 2022. The varied route leads along the southern axis from Hall in Tyrol to Innsbruck. After the beautiful and atmospheric start in the castle Hasegg it goes uphill on wonderful trails, including great views of medieval Hall and the Nordkette. The trail percentage is quite high, however, the K15 is still perfectly suited for all trail beginners who want to get to grips with this wonderful sport. After the aid station at the Herzsee, the route goes past Aldrans and the Lanser Wald, mainly downhill on great trails down to Innsbruck, where you can get in the mood for the finish at the Olympiaworld.
